On 6^th of December 2021, Vossloh-Schwabe move into a new company headquarter, relocating from the small community of Urbach to the district town of Schorndorf, five kilometers away. This means that the company now has a modern location that combines all central functions in one place.

Since the beginning of 2020, the company has been undergoing a transformation in order to continue to be a leading partner for its customers in the rapidly changing lighting market. The move to the new company headquarters underlines Vossloh-Schwabe's adaptability and innovative strength.

The new building is largely open and transparent in design, enabling team-oriented collaboration. In addition to the sales, service, development and general administration departments, the management of the entire group can also be found here. From now on, the internationally active company will be managed in a completely renovated 5-storey building between vineyards. In addition to concentrating our key departments under one roof, the clear, modern and open office design is intended to promote a culture of communication among the employees and be a central component of our success in the future.

The five-storey building with around 2,600 square meters of office space, sufficient parking spaces and located in the immediate vicinity of the railway station and the city center, offers modern workplaces as well as a roof terrace with a break and recreation room for our employees.

The new company headquarters makes one thing immediately clear: sustainability and ecology are at the heart of what we do. This also radiates from the new interior lighting. The entire office space was converted to modern and environmentally friendly LED lighting and lighting control from VS. Over 450 existing fluorescent lamps were replaced with 380 luminaires with LED technology across the entire area.
