ONE Tower – All under one roof
The ONE is an office complex in the middle of the Main metropolis Frankfurt. With its various floors and areas, it is more than just a place to work, but much more a building to spend the day in. In addition to office spaces and coworking spaces, the 49 floors above ground also include a sky bar, a restaurant and a hotel. The mix of uses offers the building's office tenants in particular a variety of informal communication venues, as well as considerable flexibility, above all thanks to the integrated coworking offer of the company "Spaces" and the conference rooms of the "nhow" hotel.
ONE is already triple platinum certified! The skyscraper is thus considered a pioneer for ESG-compliant, sustainable and digitized office real estate. ONE is the first skyscraper in Central Europe to achieve SmartScore certification in the highest Platinum category. ONE has also achieved the WiredScore certificate in Platinum as well as the pre-certificate of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB), also in Platinum.
The installation
Sensors from Vossloh-Schwabe are installed in the building, which are responsible for controlling the lighting and the communication of various devices. For example, sensors record the occupancy of premises, which allows vacant rooms to be displayed on a web interface. This data can be transferred to a booking system for mobile workstations, providing a modern and interactive work culture.
The requirements for the project
At the beginning of the construction, there were various requirements for the lighting technology and future interface solutions. The main requirements were, among others:
- A high level of functionality and ease of use
- Energy saving
- Internal stability of the system
- Highest security against external attacks on the system
- Enrolment of radio nodes possible online via a gateway or web platform
- Commissioning of the lighting control system by the installer on site
- Occupancy data with workstation control
- Indoor navigation is possible
- B2L radio nodes are licence-free
- Subsequent implementation of beacons is possible
- Flexibility when changing or extending the installation
