St. Hilda's Primary School, established in 1934 is located at 2 Tampines Ave 3, Tampines Street 82, Singapore. As an Anglican school, they are committed to providing a balanced development for an all-rounded education system.

To enhance the lighting facilities in the school auditorium, Vossloh-Schwabe's LiCS Light Controller L provided
an intelligent indoor lighting solution to manage light scenes. 60 pieces of VS DALI ballasts ELXd 254.604 220–240 V were installed to address the luminaires to the standard DALI protocol.

With the Light Controller L mounted on a top-hat rail it was suitable to create the desired ambience via 3 dimming zones (5%, 10% and 20%) with pre-set scenes without a PC or remote control.

Simple confirguration (approx. 40 seconds per luminaire) together with individual addressing and group formation and reduction of energy consumption were the main reasons for the DALI installaion. Using a DALI lighting control system combines high energy savings from optimal daylight harvesting.

LiCS system controllers are designed for smaller and medium-sized indoor applications. It is equipped to ensure simple and time-saving commissioning with the greatest degree of flexibility. Typical applications include offices, supermarkets, hospitals, stairways and halls.
