Simple layouts in line with customer requirements
Layouts with protective circuits and control options in compliance with the relevant standards (air gaps and creepage distances, insulation clearances, labelling (printing), tolerances, ...).
Design and production of hand-made and/or semi-automated module prototypes
One-off costs for initiating the production of an SMD module, incl. function tests as service. The soldering work performed on the manufactured modules is covered by the statutory warranty period.
Execution of additional assembly steps, e.g. optical components, heat sinks or frames as a service. The manufactured modules are subject to the statutory warranty for the work carried out.
Creation of limited data based on an existing lens design, LED data, and specified operating conditions
Simulation of lighting characteristics, light distribution and light radiation behaviour in a system based on existing or known radiation data of the light sources.
First 3D samples with provisional optical properties
Calculation of system temperatures; heat sink calculation based on known geometries and the materials used.

Measuring the tc point of the application
Electrostatic discharge (ESD), immunity test for fast transient electrical disturbances (burst), immunity test for overvoltage, immunity test for voltage drops, short interruptions and voltage fluctuations.
Interference voltages (9 kHz - 30 MHz), radiation intensity of the magnetic field (9 kHz - 30 MHz), interference voltage when controlled (150 kHz - 30 MHz), RF emissions (CDN method) (30 MHz - 300 MHz), emissions of AC mains harmonics (direct current - 2 kHz)
Analysis of the existing concept (mechanical, electrical, thermal and optical) and proposal for the conversion.
In contrast to booking our individual service modules, this development service involves Vossloh-Schwabe partnering you during the entire development process from the ﬁrst idea right through to readiness for mass production: in close collaboration with you as our customer, we develop a LED product in line with your speciﬁcations. From feasibility study to layout, from prototype production, thermal and optical simulation and evaluation right up to full qualification with lifetime testing – we provide everything under one roof.
